Help wanted
Unfortunately due to restrictions on space and available
computers it is not possible to have as many people in the
office as we would like, so positions may require some flexibility.
If you cannot find a suitable position yet are still willing
to help or volunteer your time please fill out one of our
Volunteer Forms and we will contact you as soon as possible.

ERCCIS Information Co-ordinator
photograph taken by Alex Howie
Librarian
Are you interested in natural history books and could spare
a few hours a week? We are currently looking for someone
who would be willing to help us catalogue our library. This
would involve entering details of the books, journals and
papers we have at the Records Centre into a computer database.
Although not the most exciting job in the world(!), the resulting
database would allow both ERCCIS staff and volunteers, along
with researchers and other interested parties, to find the
book or article they require much easier and quicker than
at present.
Recorders are always required
If you are interested please see our recording
pages or contact our Wildlife Information
Service. We are asking people to tells us where ponds
are still in existence in the Cornish landscape. Please see
the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Pond
Survey page to find out how you can get involved.
Get involved in this years Workshops
Workshops are being run throughout
the year on a variety of topics, from the identification of
Cornish spiders to investigating wetland plants.

hear from people currently recording mammals in Cornwall and
the Isles of Scilly, or anyone who is keen to learn! We are
also looking for a volunteer who would like to help with office-based
